Shiva/ Nataraj
Shiva ("The Gentle") is one of the uppermost gods in Hinduism. He embodies the aspect of creation as well as the aspect of destruction. According to the Indian mythology he is the husband of Parvati, Ganesha is his son. His symbols are the trident (Trishula) and the Lingam.
Shiva is depicted mostly as Nataraj ("King of the Dancers") which cosmic dance symbolises the everlasting cycle of the universe.
